This study provides the first evidence that EEG beta activity and brain-heart coupling predict individual response to VR-based anxiety therapy. 27 participants underwent a therapeutic VR session while EEG and ECG were recorded simultaneously. Responders showed significantly stronger midline beta modulation and EEG-to-HRV directed connectivity compared to non-responders — opening the path toward biologically personalised VR therapy.
